On Tuesday, May 12, the restaurant is serving up a night of support for the local Make-A-Wish chapter, contributing not only a portion of the day’s sales but also treating diners to a trivia-fest. When Bressler, president of Greensboro-based Leapfrog Marketing | PR | Design, was asked to participate, he leaped at the chance to be part of fund-raising for such a good cause—but only if he got to make it even more fun.
“I love movie trivia,” Bressler says. “If customers want to donate $5, $10 or even $20 to try and stump me, bring it on! What a great opportunity to raise even more money to help out kids with life-threatening illnesses.”
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and
Western North Carolina raises money to grant wishes for children battling serious medical conditions. Celebrity servers—local media, business, sports and community personalities—will be waiting tables, serving their friends and neighbors in the community, as well as children in North Carolina waiting for wishes.
“I have nothing to lose but my pride,” Bressler says. “Serving tables is one way to make money for these kids, but why not have some fun while we’re at it? I invite everyone to come out and talk trivia with me.”
Bressler plans to match the donations of customers who stump him with a movie trivia questions. The question is . . . do you feel lucky? Well, do you?
